Guild Wars 2 Item upgrade item

Item upgrade, commonly referred to as "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment gives a linear increase in the stats of a particular.

Players can recycle six items at a time to gauge each item's upgraded component. The cost of recycling an item increases with its rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item can be a method to increase the stats of your weapon and armor. Each glyph comes with a range of values it can enhance a stat in the form of an item when you open the glyph in the Glyph Storage or when you use them to enchant an Artifact. This range is not the exact amount at the glyph can increase a stat, but the maximum value by which it is able to do so. The majority of upgrade components installed into items cannot be removed or replaced without removing them, with the exception of legendary upgrades and equipment.
