World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like crit chance and PvE damage.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that is ending in % will gain 3% attack damage every time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to provide them with a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before a component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a particular type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the equipment with the upgrade (for instance "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of that equipment using the smallest amount of upgrade item Crystals than is required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by buying them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player can have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-level version of the item will appear at the time of the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will improve after a future reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break when it fails; a failed upgrade will destroy the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item level upgrade. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the risk of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs buff the effectiveness of all nodes in their radius and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we suggest upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as possible.

In the endgame, you will often find that the Best item upgrader way to improve your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs, and there are also a few rare glyphs to be obtained as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

Utilizing the Glyph will boost all nodes that are connected to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs close to key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but you should also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to boost the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is often referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is upgraded.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced by a new item of the same kind. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This can be a downside, as the item can become more expensive even if you do not need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled if the player has enough tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it could waste lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times which increases their value and allowing the player to customize their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or swims like dolphins). The item can be upgraded many times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item can be very valuable in PvP, as an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to increase the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

All items are upgradeable up to five times, except for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The rate of failure increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to go back to its original condition, which requires the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with the effect (for example, increased heal over time or speed of reload). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an Best item upgrader is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon gains a crit chance increase, the increase will be applied prior to any damage to attack increases. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. Hero grade items will come with the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to bring every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade requires a different amount of the upgrade ingredients.
